About AEC In March of 1988, what was to become later known as Aviation Engineering Consultants, Inc. (AECI), was formed in Florida to provide various services in engineering, manufacturing, quality, and management skill training services. Much of the initial services rendered revolved around FAA designee work in the engineering and manufacturing arena. Within the first two years, AECI needed to have three branches of work and hired part time employees to help in each branch, and it kept growing. In September 1996 through mid 2001, demand was such that we grew at the rate of 100% to 150% per year. We grew sufficiently that we became a manufacturer of products of our own design and that of others on top of all other services provided. Since mid 2001, the company has grown at a much higher rate of 200% to 300% per year. Today it occupies 20 acres, in mid Pinellas County, Florida, having three buildings, an engineering office, manufacturing facility, and testing laboratory. We currently have a staff large enough to support a prime contractor program, are looking to hire several additional professionals in 2009 and more in 2010. We are also growing in our manufacturing and testing capabilities. AECI’s aerospace product lines are now very diverse, covering hydraulic, fuel, oxygen, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. We produce valves, manifolds, switches, sensors, pressure gauges, transducers, light lenses, sight glass, aircraft engine parts, airframe parts, interior parts, and more. Our parts can be found in commercial transport aviation, general aviation, regional jet aviation, and military aviation products. There are literally hundreds of products we produce. |
